Seattle to Kick the Tires on Wideout Brandon Jones

Wide receiver Brandon Jones is reportedly meeting with the Seattle Seahawks today.

According to the Sacramento Bee‘s Matt Barrows, the Seahawks have an “early lead” in getting former San Francisco 49er.  Barrows’ report indicates that the Vikings, Raiders and Titans are among other teams that have expressed interest.

San Francisco waived Jones Wednesday.  He spent one season with the team.

Seattle or otherwise this is a good scenario for Jones-an untapped talent. Hopefully he will arrive on a team that is receiver friendly and not run and TE centered.
