The collective exhale heard throughout the Northwest minutes ago could only mean one thing, Russell Okung has reportedly agreed to terms on his contract.
According to the Twitter of ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Seattle’s first pick in the 2010 National Football League Draft has agreed to the wording of a contact that will span six years worth $58 million, with $30 million guaranteed. The news comes two days after being the subject of SeahawksGab’s first Seahawks Sound Off, a new reader interactive poll segment.
Mortenson also reported via his Twitter that Okung should take the practice field this weekend.
