Seattle now has just one first-round draft choice left unsigned.
According to the Twitter account of Earl Thomas, the safety and his agent finalized a deal Saturday night that will put Thomas on the field for practice today.
“Thank u jesus the deal is finally done bout to go sign the paperwork now,” said Thomas via Twitter.
Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reported that the deal is a five-year contract worth $21.1 million of which $12.32 million is guaranteed.
Thomas, the 14th overall selection in April’s 2010 National Football League Draft, is the frontrunner to take one of Seattle’s two starting safety positions.
