New Bears OC Martz Expects to Have Growing Pains in the Offense

Sporting News reports that new OC Mike Martz is ready to have some early issues with the offense once camp starts in a few weeks:

Although Bears GM Jerry Angelo likes the scheme offensive coordinator Mike Martz is installing, he also knows patience is key as the players work on grasping all the little things that go with the pass-intensive system. “There are going to be growing pains with the offense because there is a lot going on prior to the snap and after the snap,” Angelo said in an interview with the Chicago Tribune. “But if your goal is to be great, then you must do everything right and do it consistently, so I’m excited about that.”
