America Still Hates Eagles QB Mike Vick

Michael Vick

Forbes magazine has released its annual most disliked player in sports list. For the second time in as many years, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has topped the list.

Unlike some of the others that appear on the list, most of Vick’s judgement is a result of things he’s done outside the world of sports. We’re all familiar with the situation Vick went through, and the fact that he did a terrible thing. Vick has put all of this behind him, but apparently America has not.

I know that Vick did something awful, but much like the Eagles, I am willing to forgive and forget. His focus is on football now and he is trying not to be haunted by his past. Although he wants to put it behind him, when you do something like he did, people don’t soon forget.

It’s unfortunate that Vick has to be listed like this, but I guess it can be beneficial at the same time. It reminds him that he made a mistake and he still has a lot to prove as a man. Behind all the pads, Vick is more than just a football player.

Some other NFL names on the list included Al Davis, Ben Roethlisberger, Jerry Jones, and Terrell Owens.

How many times will journalist write this same story, who gives a crap about the forbes list, they picked and chose who they wanted to use as voters on this poll, that is how they were able to get the results they wanted. That poll is just as phony and these low life writers, who go out of their way to keep crap going

I agree with you Jane, these writers know that it is getting close to the football season and they are trying to promote as much hate as possible for Vick, if the man so was so hated why is he able to draw crowds of thousands and people are always trying to get his autograph. This is there worthless attempt to keep this man down. Ben Roethlisberger sexually assaults a minor, contributes to a minor, exposes himself in public, and even though he was not charged, he certainly should have been charged with something whether that young lady pressed charges against him or not, the prosecutor had enough to charge his behind with her. Of course the media kept this as low as they possibly could, they knew they had to report something, so they made sure it was as minimal as possible. But they hang on Vick
