Ravens Sign Former Rams QB Marc Bulger

The Ravens today came to terms with former Rams signal caller Marc Bulger, who has been on the free agent market since he was released from St.Louis a few months back.

The signing of Bulger is insurance behind starter Joe Flacco. Reports say the deal for Bulger is a one-year, $3.8 million contract, which includes incentives that can boost the total value of the deal to $5.3 million.

The signing of Bulger could mean the team could look to move backup quarterback Troy Smith, a former Heisman Trophy winner who has said he would like to get a shot to start somewhere in the league.

As of now, the team has four QB’s – Flacco, Bulger, Smith and John Bech.
