For possibly the 5th or 6th time this offseason, the petulant defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has refused to report to the Redskins and has demanded he be traded. The Rams should stay as far away from Haynesworth as humanly possible.
His best season was his contract year and he naturally parlayed that into a massive, and I mean massive contract with the free spending Washington Redskins. After 1 very poor year with the Skins, he is demanding a trade because he does not want to play the NT in a 3-4. He is also demanding that he keep all of his money.
This is exactly the type of money-first, me-first player the Rams should not attempt to sign regardless of how well Haynesworth 2 years ago. There is no guarantee the Rams would be able to motivation Haynesworth as all that seems to motivate him is money and he’s not going to get a much larger contract than he already has.
Just say no, Rams.
