As reported by the Baltimoresun.com, “Restricted free agent fullback Le’Ron McClain has signed his first-year tender for $2.396 million, the Ravens said Wednesday.”
McClain has been a hard worker and a productive fullback, he also campaigned this off-season through Twitter lobbying to receive more carries. Last season he was used primarily as a fullback as opposed to the 2008-2009 season where McClain was the primary back. There is no doubt that McClain can be an effective runner and many fans hope Cam Cameron will give the power back more opportunities this year.
With McClain signing his tender, along with offensive tackle Jared Gaither and Safety Dawan Landry in recent days, it completes the signings for RFA’s (restricted free agents).
