If your wondering what Brett Favre is planning on doing this summer, he at least as one day already booked. That day is July 15th, as the National Football Post reports that the QB will have a private memorabilia signing through a company called Radtke Sports. The prices for an autograph range from $175 for a flat up to $400 for a full sized helmet.
Now while this has little to do with the QB’s decision to come back or not for the 2010 season, you know he got a pretty penny to ink his name hundreds of times, and maybe it’s an indication of moving on, or then again, maybe it’s just another way he’ll pass the time waiting for camp to get going so he can skip a bunch of the drills.
Brett Favre has made plans for July. What that means for the Minnesota Vikings and his future in the NFL, that is anyone’s best guess at this point.
But when it comes to NFL memorabilia, Favre knows exactly what he’s doing. Maybe the private memorabilia signing he’s conducting July 15 will provide some walking around cash for training camp in Mankato, Minn., or maybe Favre will skip that part of camp again this summer. Who knows?
Actually, at the rate Favre is signing at, maybe it will pay for some private jets to haul him back and forth from Hattiesburg, Miss., to the land of 10,000 lakes or so.
Whatever the case, get your helmets or jerseys in by July 14 and along with $400, Favre will happily sign them. That includes you Jets fans out there too. Save a few bucks and go with an autographed photo. Items will be returned one to two weeks after the signing, just in time for Favre suspense to be at a summer-time peak.
