Texans LB Brian Cushing suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting via his Twitter page that the Texans linebacker Brian Cushing is going to be suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Schefter reports that Cushing appealed his suspension in February and discovered today that his appeal was rejected. Cushing is coming off a great rookie season where he garnered the AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year honor.
