Raiders and DE Richard Seymour working on a long term deal

ESPN reports today that the Raiders are chatting with Richard Seymour about a deal that could keep him in the Black Hole for a long time:

Oakland Raiders coach Tom Cable said the team is working on a long-term deal with defensive end Richard Seymour. Seymour is an exclusive rights franchise player but has not signed his tender and he is not at the first day of Oakland’s mandatory minicamp Friday. Signing Seymour to a long-term deal is of immense importance to Oakland, they gave up its No. 1 pick in next year’s draft to acquire him from New England last September.
