The Giants are bringing in Holy Cross QB Dominic Randolph for a visit, April 11-12th, according to the Dayton Daily News. Don’t know much about Randolph, but here is one what one scout said to the Dayton Daily News:
“I don’t know much about the kid, but he did catch some people’s eyes at the workout,” one scout said this week. “I saw a lot of Drew Brees-type qualities in him. He seemed very poised and threw the ball extremely well with nice touch. I believe teams really took notice.”
Randolph is a late round/free agent type. The 6-3, 225 QB is smart, scoring a 34 on the Wonderlic test. He 310 of 485 passes for 3,776 yards and 34 touchdowns during the 2009 season.
Obviously, he’s a work in progress, and, for the Giants, he would be a practice squad type. But, he does have talent, and could be a nice sleeper in the late rounds.
