The Bengals announced today that they have re-signed restricted free agent linebacker Abdul Hodge, and exclusive rights free agents OG Nate Livings, OT Dennis Roland, QB Jordan Palmer, and S Kyries Hebert.
Hodge is primarily a special teams contributor and is currently listed as the number one back-up at middle linebacker behind starter Dhani Jones. Livings split time with Evan Mathis as the starter at left guard. Roland was also a part-time starter at right tackle, and also lined up as a tight end in some of the team’s unbalanced line formations.
Jordan Palmer spent the season as the #3 QB. Hebert, though listed as a safety, is most valuable to the team on kick coverage teams.
At this point, settling the right guard position is the team’s top priority with Bobbie Williams still unsigned.
