Vikings QB Favre Says His Injured Groin Will be Fine

It appears that Brett Favre will just fine, coming off his bye week, stating he believes his pulled groin will be okay. Favre was hurt during practice two weeks ago and aggravated the injury in pregame warmups at Green Bay on November 1st. The Vikings didn’t play last week, giving the quarterback extra time to heal.

Favre said Wednesday the injury bothered him during the Packers game, but “not as bad” as he feared it might. He says he was concerned mostly because he’d never had the problem before. Favre says he stayed in Minnesota during the bye. He went hunting, but says all he killed was time.

The Vikings (7-1) will be at home this week to take on the 1-7 Lions Sunday.
