In a move that was expected, the Browns and coach Eric Mangini have gone back to QB Brady Quinn, putting him back under center for Derek Anderson. “I’m excited to play,” Quinn said. “I’m excited to be a part of Monday night. Every team in the NFL is tough, them especially. We’ve got our hands full right now.”
The Browns have scored just seven touchdowns this season, and the last time Quinn was the starter, he lasted just 10 quarters before being pulled in week three for Anderson. The switch meant little, as Anderson didn’t exactly light it up, as the team is 1-7 and has had major issues all year scoring points.
The last home game against the Packers the team lost 31-3, and the crowd chanted for Quinn to no avail. Now we shall see if he has better success this time around. “The biggest thing right now is to get some things going on offense and improve some things for us,” Quinn said.
