Skins Coach Zorn Says He Believes Hall’s Account of Sunday Scuffle in Atlanta

A lot has been made over the last 48 hours about the scuffle that took place between the Falcons and Redskins. DeAngelo Hall says he’s going to talk to Roger Goodell about it, and the league is looking into the matter.

Today’s Washington Times has a quick tidbit about coach Jim Zorn saying that he believes what Hall is saying about being abused by Falcons coach Mike Smith.

Redskins head coach Jim Zorn said he believes cornerback DeAngelo Hall’s account of his scuffle on the Atlanta sideline. Hall accused two Falcons coaches of grabbing him during the altercation. “It looked to me on video that’s exactly what happened,” said Zorn, who ran across the field after Hall came to the defense of safety LaRon Landry, who had roused the Falcons with a late hit on quarterback Matt Ryan. “I was proud of DeAngelo for keeping his composure. Fortunately, it didn’t escalate to where there were blows thrown.”
