Rush Limbaugh: Justice For All

rush_limbaugh_350_31
This post was created by a very close family friend who wrote this regarding her concern for the treatment of Rush Limbaugh during his recent attempt to become a partial owner of the St. Louis Rams:

Regardless if you agree with his conservative point of view; the recent treatment of Rush Limbaugh by Dave Checketts, the National Football League, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the media, in regard to his bid to purchase a minority fraction of the St. Louis Rams is appalling.

The obvious smear campaign mounted against Rush affects all Americans, as it is an attack on our individual liberty and right to the pursuit of happiness. The statements levied against Rush are designed to impugn his reputation and to deliver attacks on his personal character.

All of those involved with the spreading of fabricated quotes should be ashamed. It is a sad day, when the normal NFL vetting process cannot be followed and people such as Mr. Checketts cower to intimidation prior to routine vetting.

Rush is a self-made American success story. Like many of the owners and players in the League, Rush started out with a dream and was able to make that dream a reality through incredible hard word and talent. Everyone who personally knows Rush Limbaugh knows him to be an incredibly generous person and loyal friend to all.

He has a deep love for the NFL, true admiration for the athletes and their unique talents. He loves the United States and wants Americans to be the best they possibly can be. His intentions were simply to help keep the Rams in Missouri, his home state, after being approached by Dave Checketts to join the ownership group bidding on the team, and ultimately make the Rams a winning franchise. He would have made an excellent St. Louis Rams owner, with heartfelt dedication to the players.

The double-standard is blatant. The NFL has permitted athletes who have been punished for their actions the great honor of playing in the League. Despite having participated in illegal activities, NFL athletes such as Michael Vick, Ricky Williams and Adam “Pacman” Jones were reinstated to be a part of the League.

Most Americans agree that each of the above named athletes carries with them some element of controversy. Other celebrities, apart from their personal views, affiliations or actions are minority owners of NFL franchises. Celebrities such as: Stacy Ann Ferguson “Fergie”, Serena and Venus Williams, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, were recently accepted as minority owners of the Miami Dolphins.

It is unfortunate that race is any part of this discussion, however since they have made it so, know this, some of Rush Limbaugh’s closest financial advisers, friends, and idols are African-American. His radio show producer/call-screener is African-American, the list goes on. Rush does not mention this on a routine basis because he does not classify people this way. He sees these people as colleagues, friends, and advisers, first and foremost.

This message should be shared with as many people as possible, including the National Football League in New York. Rush Limbaugh deserves a public apology from everyone involved. The truth does not always spread as far and as fast as the lies, but I have confidence that everyone in the American public will recognize this smear campaign for what is it and that the truth will win out.

Rush Limbaugh deserves nothing more than a forced frontal lobotomy.

  2. Raymond Roy says:

There is enough sick people in sports. Please do not add Rush Limbaugh to that list.
His love for the U.S. is irrelevant. Patriotism makes me sick!

  3. The Guru says:

I like the picture. Rush is showing how big it is, which is why he over-compensates with pomp, bombastics, and ignorance at high volume. He took the HYPOCRITE Oath (not to be confused with Doctors), and lives by it daily. Thanks for showing your initiative, though Kathryn. Click your heels and keep repeating “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home….”

The NFL decides who becomes an owner not the other way around.

All this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has to offer is his money and his opinions, (which in my opinion are on the fringes of racism, one mans opinion). There are many more groups biding for the Rams, not just his group. Lets face it there are more men with money (Marshall Faulk) that will gladly fill the slot and the Rams will win or lose depending on how well they work as a team and not on whether or not Rush is an owner.

As for Vick, well he is a player (he has talent not like you, Rush or I, unless you are a NFL player?) and he served his time and the NFL decided we live in the land of second chances, so why not (I personally don’t like it but, oh well). Life has never been fair (NEWS FLASH!)

Now as to the “Free Speech” argument, I guess many of you like myself heard Rush on Thursday “Almost in tears”, priceless. But the last couple of days he now is in his normal ranting and will continue until someone surpasses him, “Free Speech” continues, so what is being stifled, it simply is not true, of course, you may not have a radio, so you might want to get one.

Rush is obviously mentally-impaired by some sort of organic brain disease since he cannot even keep common news facts straight nor maintain a civil facade.

Therefore someone needs to start a PUBLIC CLASS_ACTION lawsuit to have Rush COMMITTED to MENTAL INSTITUTION for at least 30 DAY OBSERVATION. That my friend is DUE PROCESS and DEMOCRATIC.

In fact if 51% of the people in the area were he resides say he should be permanently committed then the medical opinions of his PURCHASED doctors should be disregarded. A key facet of democracy is that if you make yourself unpopular to enough people then the mob has a right to burn you or whatever they decide — because your treatment by the mob is your fault. Thank God under Democracy — The mob rules!!!! Down with the rich tyrants!!!

limbaugh has the right to say whatever he wants and others have the right to react accordingly to their views and beliefs.

Put another way, this clown shot himself in the foot with his own hate filled mouth and the discerning know this cannot be spun any other way Ms.Rogers.

  7. James says:

The NFL is a business dependent on families to spend a ton of dough. They do not need or want an owner with a controversial record like Rush Limbaugh. Truth be known most of the other owners are more conservative than Rush, but do not flaunt it or put other people down like he does.

You might remember the car dealer who made International new for his promotion giving away AK47s with the purchase of a Truck.

He’s back in the news again and this time it doesn’t involve guns, but there’s definitely a political statement being made.

This same car guy is now protesting against the NFL because of the whole Rush Limbaugh/St. Louis Rams ordeal.

Saw this on CNSNews. You can find more information on the story there.

Why is this story here? It’s written by Kathryn Rogers, Rush’s girlfriend. So the Gridiron Gab is running commentary about the character of someone, written by that dude’s girlfriend? And we’re supposed to take this seriously, see the wisdom of her words, and forgive a hateful man for whom probably no African American St. Louis player would ever want to play. Am I missing something? Is it April Fool’s day already?
