Steelers Parker Talks Like He’ll Be Sitting Sunday

Steelers Redskins Football
It looks like the Steelers will be feeding a steady diet of Rashard Mendenhall Sunday in Detroit, as the way usual starter Willie Parker is speaking, he won’t be playing against the Lions.

“I’m a competitor and I want to compete and show the world what I’ve got but, at the same time, I’ve got to be smart about it,” said Parker Wednesday. “Right now, I’m not where I need to be.”

Parker has turf toe, and didn’t take the practice field Wednesday. If he doesn’t practice Thursday, it’s almost a for sure then he won’t play in Detroit.
