Fantasy Gab: Berrian’s Stock Rises w/ the Arrival of #4

Bernard Berrian is now a stone cold lock as a top #20 WR. With Favre running the offense his numbers will explode. Understand that the football world know that Brett Favre had the Minnesota playbook for months. This actually isn’t the biggest news for fantasy football out of Minnesota.

The real player that you’ll should grab late in your drafts is Percy Harvin. From what I hear on the various blogs they are designing plays just for Harvin. He has speed comparable to Deshawn Jackson in Philly. They will run end arounds and wildcat formations for Harvin. Add that to the fact that Favre is now the QB Harvin will rise to a #2 WR by the end of the year. Mark my words.

While we are chatting about the NFC Central I also feel that Brandon Pettigrew is worth another late round pickup. He is a rookie TE in Detroit who while be Matt Stafford’s safety valve. Of course CJ will get the bulk of the receptions but Pettigrew will grab the garbage catches with some of the trash being TD’s.

  1. Tom says:

Berrian’s stock does rise as long as his injury remains minor. BIG FAN of Harvin. Hoping he stays under the radar for draft day.
