White Gets What He Wants; Falcons WR Gets Six-Year Extension

Falcons wide out Roddy White has been unhappy for sometime about his contract. Today, he should be a happy camper once again. White and the Falcons late on Saturday got a deal done that will keep Matt Ryan’s favorite target in Atlanta for sometime to come.

Reports say that White’s deal is worth $50 million over six seasons with $18 mil guaranteed money. White is coming off a huge season with the Falcons, who made it to the playoff in coach Mike Smith’s first season. Last season he caught 88 passes for 1382 yards and 7 TD’s.

In his career in four seasons, he’s caught 230 passes for 3536 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s a star rising for the Falcons, and it’s a big deal for the club to keep him in Atlanta.
