Sunday morning Buffalo Bills receiver, Terrell Owens, felt the need to tell the media that the NFL should reinstate Michael Vick immediately.
Owens feels that the potential of suspending Vick for four games is ridiculous.
“I think he’s done the time for what he’s done. I don’t think it’s really fair for him to be suspended four more games,” Owens said. “It’s almost like kicking a dead horse in the ground.”
Is Owens now the commissioner?
Maybe I wouldn’t have a problem with him saying this if he wasn’t always seeking the attention of his peers and the media. But to me this is Owens crying out for attention once again.
We all know what Vick did and frankly we are all sick of hearing about it. We don’t need a prima donna like Owens suggesting that the league not further suspend Vick.
Could this be Owens auditioning for Vick to possibly become his teammate?
Who knows, its T.O. we are talking about.
I am not agreeing or disagreeing with what Owens said about Vick not deserving a four game suspension; however I do believe that Owens should stick to what he does best and that is football.
Bills safety and the team’s NFLPA represenative agrees with Owens and said he and other players will meet to discuss how they will support Vick in the coming months.
