Report States Favre Deal Allegedly in Place

As we inch closer to the inevitability that is Brett Favre as a Minnesota Viking (blood chilling, I know), we have a new report saying that this epic event has come closer to fruition. From WCCO’s Mark Rosen, he claims a source has confirmed that the Vikings and Brett Favre already have a contract in place:

“Barring some unforeseen major physical setback, Brett Favre will be at training camp in Mankato when they open up the end of July, a source has told WCCO’s Mark Rosen.

That source said that Favre and the Vikings have indeed come to a contractual agreement, with heavy incentives. The Vikings equipment manager has already ordered number 4 purple jerseys with his name on it.”

Start saving your dollars, Viking fans. You have a new jersey to buy!
