The Bucs may look to add more to their WR core, as the St. Petersburg Times reports that the team will try out former Rams and Titans WR Drew Bennett. The workout with the WR will come on Tuesday according to the report.
The Buccaneers have been looking for experienced depth at wide receiver, and Bennett has already talked to a couple of teams, the Titans and Browns included in that. Bennett was let go in February after being set back by a broken foot last season and catching just one pass for four yards.
He caught 33 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns two years for the Rams after signing a six-year, $30 million contract. In his eight-year career, Bennett has registered 307 career receptions for 4,412 yards and 28 touchdowns.
