McDaniels made the Right Move

After weeks of suspense, Denver Broncos head coach, Josh McDaniels made the choice to name Kyle Orton as his starting quarterback.

This is the right move.

Orton won the role over Chris Simms on Friday. McDaniels said that even though Orton has the job, Simms still has time to take it away from him if he shows that he deserves it.

“There’s a lot of difficult aspects about what we ask our quarterback to do in our offense and Kyle has really grasped some of them more quickly than Chris did,” McDaniels said.

There has also been some heat brought on by the fans and critics in the NFL. Most said that it would be wise if McDaniels at least started out with Orton as his starter, mainly because he, along with several draft picks, came over in the Jay Cutler trade.

Perhaps the Broncos offense is what Orton needs in order to succeed in the NFL. No matter how you look at it, Orton, maybe more than any other qb this year besides Cutler, will have a ton of pressure on him to do well.
