Bengals Coach Lewis Says WR Ocho Cinco Going Nowhere

NFL BENGALS RAVENS
Despite reportedly spraying tears about wanting out of Cincy, it once again appears that Chad Johnson/Ocho Cinco is going nowhere.

“Again, I don’t know why people continue with this speculation of moving Chad,” coach Marvin Lewis said about the WR Tuesday. “I think it’s been told many times and we’ve reiterated now for I don’t know anyone keeping count of this but Chad’s not getting moved. So we won’t speculate on any of our players.”

Ocho Cinco is not attending offseason workouts, and there are vibes that he once again is going to throw a temper tantrum about wanting to get traded. Right now though the Bengals need him, and really he needs to understand that he’s not going to get what he wants in this situation.

Marvin Lewis has said from day one that Ocho Cinco is going to be part of the Bengals in 2009. It comes as no shock that he said it again on Tuesday, and Chad can cry all he wants, he’s not going to be traded anytime soon.
