There continues to be rumors in the Bills camp about the team looking to move two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters, but according to the Buffalo News, the team isn’t letting on about their plans with Peters.
“We obviously value Jason as a player,” COO Russ Brandon said. “We’d like to have him on this team. I think we’re just going to see how this situation plays out with Jason. We will continue to work with him and his representatives.”
Peters held out all of training camp last season as he wants a new deal. He’s already told the team that he’ll be there this season for camp, but there still must be some lingering hard feelings if the team is serious about finding a taker for him.
If the team can’t get him signed, it will be interesting to see if they move him on the day of the draft, and exactly what his worth is, as Pro Bowl left tackles are not exactly easy to come by these days.
