Bills Safety Whitner Arrested in Cleveland After Fight

Bills player Donte Whitner was arrested after an altercation at the House of Blues in Cleveland early Saturday morning. Whitner was arrested for aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police said they were attempting to stop a near riot in front of the House of Blues, where Ted Ginn Jr. was having a birthday party. Ginn is a Glenville High School graduate and now plays for the Miami Dolphins. Whitner is also a Glenville graduate. He plays for the Buffalo Bills.

Officers attempting to control the scene denied Whitner access to the area and officers said he attempted to force himself past them in a violent manner. When officers tried to restrain him he broke free and took a fighting stance.

He was then shocked with a Taser and arrested. Whitner was held in Cleveland City Jail.
