Former Rams WR Holt Talks to Jags; Still Drawing Interest from Titans

Former Rams WR Torry Holt remains on the open market, and it appears that two teams – the Jaguars and Titans are the most likely teams that could end up signing Holt. The former first-round draft pick of the Rams in 1999 talked to the Jags on Thursday, the first team he has officially visited.

“Torry is in contact with all the teams that have interest,” agent Kennard McGuire told The Nashville City Paper via text. “He is taking one visit at a time.” Reports say that Holt is still very much on the minds of the Titans, who would love to have a veteran presence at the wide out spot.

The Jaguars though are another team that need pass catchers, as with the recent release of Matt Jones, the team is going to need players that can catch the football, and while he’s not the player he was five years ago, Holt could fit that bill. What it will come down to at the end of the day is money, and what Holt is willing to accept to join a club.
