A report from Pro Football Talk.com says that the Lions are going to play host to Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry. He had some great times and other outings at last month’s Scouting Combine, and some are saying he very well could be the #1 pick come April 25th.
The visit with the Lions will come on Sunday. “There’s a lot of pressure of being a No. 1 pick, and he’s definitely got the character and the ability to be able to handle that pressure,” agent Andy Ross told Carlos Monarrez of the Free Press.
So far the Lions have hosted Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford and Baylor offensive tackle Jason Smith, both of whom could be the first overall pick when the draft kicks off with the 0-16 squad.
