Agent Rosenhaus Says Nothing’s Been Said to Him About Trading or Releasing Owens

It was an interesting week as agent Drew Rosenhaus threw out there that three of his clients, all WR’s want to be traded – Anquan Boldin of the NFC champion Arizona Cardinals, Plaxico Burress of the New York Giants and Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals.

With that though, there has been nothing said about Terrell Owens, who has been rumored to be on his way out of Dallas ever since the last snap was taken in Philly back on December 28th. Today’s Dallas Morning News weighed in on the situation:

According to agent Drew Rosenhaus, the Cowboys haven’t reached out to him regarding moving Terrell Owens either by trade or release. If something should happen regarding Owens maybe the team will approach Rosenhaus at the scouting combine next week in Indianapolis.

There was talk last week that Jerry Jones spoke to a number of players about if they could or could not play with Owens. Now it seems that with talks heating up, it seems more evident than ever that T.O. is probably going to be gone before the 09 season starts.
