The Rams coaching search may becoming even more defined, as it looks like Jason Garrett is going back to the Gateway city. If he’s going back to finish up a deal to be the next head coach is anyone’s guess, but the fact that he is going back to St.Louis seems to point him in the direction of being one of the final four for the job with the Rams.
Adam Schefter of NFL Network wrote today that even with the speculation being that the job was going to go to a defensive guy – Rex Ryan of the Ravens or Leslie Frazier of the Vikings, it appears that with Garrett heading back to St.Louis seems to not have him in the drivers seat for the top coaching job.
If Garrett does land with the Rams, it comes just a year after pulling out of a possible head coaching spot with the Baltimore Ravens, a job that of course now belongs to John Harbaugh. It also means that the Cowboys will need a new offensive coordinator.
