Offseason of Activity Starts for the Cowboys

The Cowboys’ offseason is always surrounded by a a big media blitz but this year’s seems to have started even earlier than usual.  With the release of Adam Jones last week and his subsequent lawsuit filing against ESPN, who he blames for his release due to the story about his involvement in an Atlanta shooting two years ago, then the arrest of LB Anthony Spencer in Indianapolis, things are off to a hot start.  In between, there was the fiasco of Chris Carter’s comments on his radio show about “shooting” T.O., which was just ridiculous and not even taken seriously by anyone!

Things will most likely get even crazier before settling down just prior to training camp sometime in August of this year.  Will Jason Garrett leave for another coaching job?  Who will Jerry Jones sign and who will he let go in terms of free agents?

Now, Michael Irvin had a gun pointed at him by a motorist in Dallas!  There’s just always something happening in the world of the Cowboys.

All of these things will eventually work themselves out to be followed by the opening season in their new billion dollar stadium later this year, so just hang on for the ride that is a Dallas Cowboys offseason.
