The Cards are going to be without at lest one starter this Sunday vs the Eagles, and possibly another. Starting tight end Stepehn Spach is for sure not going to play, as he has a torn knee ligament. He tore his right anterior cruciate ligament while blocking in the second half of Saturday night’s 33-13 victory over the Panthers. He became the starting tight end for the Cards on November 10th after being signed as a free agent on October 28th.
As far as Pro Bowl WR Anquan Boldin is concerned, his status remains uncertain due to his strained left hamstring that kept him out of Saturday’s win. “We’re a week further along in the process of that hamstring getting better, so hopefully he’ll be able to do something this week,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said, “but we’ll see as the work progresses.”
Boldin this season has 89 catches for 1038 yards and 11 touchdowns. He likely will be listed as questionable when the injury report comes out Wednesday.
