The rumor of running back Cadillac Williams being added to the active roster has taken place. Today the Bucs added Williams to the roster, this after seeing him the past few weeks in practice and also with the team possibly missing Earnest Graham this week with a knee sprain for the game against the Vikings.
Wiliams has not played since he tore his right knee up bad against the Panthers back on September 30th of last season. There was thoughts that he would not ever be able to take the field again, but now his hard work and dedication has paid off, and he has earned his way back onto the field.
He was the NFL’s rookie of the season on offense back in 2005 with 1178 yards with six TD’s. He may have a chance for some carries on Sunday if Graham can’t go, and likely would split them or be the second string to Warrick Dunn, who would be the feature back if Graham can’t go.
