Looks as if the Tom Brady surgery saga is getting a little more complicated than first thought. If you missed the latest, Brady has let it out that he now has had four surgeries on his knee that he hurt in the season opener against KC that has knocked him out for the season. Now there is a report that the Pats are unhappy with Brady because he had the surgery done by his own doctor, and not the Pats doctor.
And so it goes.
The Pats are quickly doing damage control, and released a statement earlier today saying they have no issues with Tom Terrific, and that they are 100 percent behind their guy. “This unsubstantiated report does not represent the team’s views whatsoever,” the statement said. “We have supported Tom Brady one hundred percent from day one of this process and will continue to do so. … Today, we reiterate our total support for Tom as he recovers from his injury.”
Hmmm. Sounds like they don’t want to make Brady upset, and so instead of feeling like a bride at the alter on her wedding day, they came out and tried to make everything seem A-okay. So why the reason for all the surgeries? Brady developed an infection in the knee, and had to have it cleaned out. Stay tuned.
