The Ravens have added a big cog to their offensive line, as today they came to terms with former Bengals offensive limeman Willie Anderson. The contract that Anderson, who was released by the Bengals last Saturday when he refused to take a pay cut, will pay him $11 million over three seasons.
Anderson is set to be at the Ravens headquarters on Friday to sign the deal and make it official. He also gets a nice $1.67 mil signing bonus. The 33-year old had played his whole career with the Bengals, and was a force on their O-line for years. He has played in 181 total games, starting 173. He also is a four-time Pro Bowl and four-time All-Pro selection.
The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder picked the Ravens over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Diego Chargers after visiting the Ravens on Wednesday.
