For a change, the Seattle Seahawks have some good news on the injury front as according to the Associated Press, linebacker Lofa Tatupu only has a bone bruise on his right knee and is expected to be ready for the team’s season opener September 7 when they visit the Buffalo Bills.
Tatupu, a 3-time Pro Bowler, had crutches near his locker on Monday night after injuring his knee in the Seahawks second quarter of their game against the San Diego Chargers, which raised some concern of a more serious injury. But Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren stated that Tatupu is fine and will play against Buffalo.
