Chad Johnson in the News Again

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was fined $5,000.00 for wearing “Ocho Cinco” on the back of his jersey. Johnson has not worn the patch in the last 2 season, as he is always trying to out due his action from the previous week. Chad now has a plan to outdo or one-up the National Football League.

It’s being reported that Chad has started the legal process in the state of Florida, to change his last name from Johnson to Ocho Cinco.

No longer will there be a Chad Johnson, the Bengals all pro wide receiver will have a legal name of Chad Ocho Cino.

In recent interviews with ESPN, Johnson has made references about a future plan that will change the way fans think about him.

From a business standpoint this could make Chad a nice bit of extra cash, as the Ocho Cinco jersey
would be an instant classic.

The jersey would be among the best selling jerseys in the league and players receive a percentage of their jersey sales.

He better hope he’s a Bengal for life or else he might have to change his name again.

  2. He needs to worry more about his injured shoulder now. He does bring a lighter side to football and makes fans laugh. If I were a Bengals fan I would feel his antics are now too much. Not only did he want to be traded before the season but he doesn’t do much for the Bengals reputation which seems to dwindle each and every year.
