Bengals Get Rivers Into Camp

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers
The Cincinnati Bengals finally got their lone first-round draft pick signed and into camp, as according to the Associated Press, linebacker Keith Rivers ended his contract holdout late Tuesday night – in which Rivers missed 9 days of training camp. According to the team’s website, Rivers signed a 5-year deal; no financial specifics were available. Rivers is expected to arrive at Bengals training camp Wednesday (today); the Bengals have projected him as a starter for the regular season, but had to drop him on the depth chart due to his holdout. Rivers was the 9th overall pick taken by the Bengals in the 2008 NFL draft.
