Broncos’ Marshall To Be Suspended

It is looking more than likely that Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall will be suspended for three games for violating the National Football League’s personal conduct policy, according to a report coming from the NFL Network; specifically, the report comes from NFL sources and also said that the suspension could be reduced to 2 games if Marshall undergoes counseling.

Assuming Marshall is suspended, he will still be able to practice with his team during the preseason but will miss the beginning of the regular season and cannot practice after September 2 while he is suspended. Marshall is scheduled to go on trial in September after a drunk driving arrest in October of 2007; in addition to that arrest, he was arrested on a domestic violence warrant that was filed by his former girlfriend in Atlanta on March 6 – of which the charges were dropped.
