Scout.com reported that East Carolina University RB Chris Johnson is scheduled to meet with the Tennessee Titans as one of their 30 pre-draft visits. Chris Johnson displayed amazing athleticism and work ethic in his senior season at ECU, and then jumped mock draft boards everywhere after blazing the combine with a 4.24/4.29 second 40-yard dash.
The Titans already have third year RB LenDale White and second year RB Chris Henry in their stable, and the team is looking for a lighter and faster RB. That RB could very well be Johnson if the Titans get their way in next weekend’s draft.
“They said they were looking for another back because both of their backs [LenDale White and Chris Henry] are around 230,” Johnson, 5’11” & 200lbs, said of what the Titans told him at the Combine.
