The long awaited 2008 complete NFL schedule will be released on Tuesday, as the release will take place at 2pm on the NFL Network. ESPN will also have a SportsCenter special involving the release as well. The early reports were that the schedule was going to come out on April 3rd, but that was not the case as instead it has taken two more weeks for them to complete it.
The schedule release show has been extended to two hours and will be repeated at 6 and 9 p.m. The web site will also feature clips throughout the day. The league has already released a few games, which include the opener which will be the Redskins at the Giants in the Meadowlands on Thursday, September 4th. That weekends prime-time games will include the Bears at Colts at the new Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday night, and on Monday night it will be the Vikings at Packers and Broncos at Raiders.
