The Lions and cornerback Travis Fisher have come to terms on a three-year deal that will pay him a reported $9 million dollars. ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that the deal will pay him $4.25 million this season. Fisher came to the Lions last season after spending the first five year of his career with the St.Louis Rams.
Last season in Detroit, he played in all 16 games, making 77 tackles with two interceptions. In his career Fisher has played in 72 games with 300 tackles to go along with nine interceptions and two touchdowns. The team already has shuffled the secondary a bit this offseason with the release of veteran Fernando Bryant, and now it appears they are committed to Fisher for at least the time being following this deal.
