Browns reward underachiever Rogers with extension

Shaun Rogers

In the world of the NFL where if you underachieve you get rewarded handsomley Shaun Rogers is the latest reciepiant of a questionable contract.

Don’t get me wrong here I really like what the Browns have done so far in free agency but, Rogers has yet to play a down for them and has been inconsistent in his NFL career.

Rogers is now the highest paid interior lineman in the league. His new contract with the Browns is reported to be 6-years and $42 million dollars. $20 million is said to be guarenteed. It is reported that he will make $23 million over the first three years of the deal.

Rogers was sent to the Browns last week for a third round pick and an unhappy Leigh Bodden.
