Browns reportedly up their offer to Anderson

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards, right, is congratulated by quarterback Derek Anderson after catching a 5-yard touchdown pass.

If your Derek Anderson, what are you thinking? If your Phil Savage and the Cleveland Browns the same can be asked. It has been reported today that the Browns Have sweetened the money portion of their offer to QB Derek Anderson. It is now believed to be a 3 year $20 million dollar offer. There are some indications that this could be done by Thursday. If Anderson does not sign look for him to leave about $17 million dollars on the table. The Browns are sure to tender him a one year $2.52 million dollar contract.

With the tender, the Browns would be able to match any other team’s offer to Anderson, or receive first- and third-round draft picks if he ends up with another team.
