Wash. (-8.5) over Arz.
This is the classic overmatch, overpower ’em type of game, as Washington destroys Arizona at home in a big victory by more than 17+ points. ‘Skins defense will be all the difference in the world regardless of the Arz. QB and their offense will put up points in bunches.
N.O. (-9) over Atl.
Guess who’s back?!? The Saints ain’t a team on a losing streak no more and they will get their 2nd straight win by two dozen points, as they go on a winning streak. Look out for back-up sighting from both teams in the 4th quarter.
I told you so last week… Saints are going to get back on-track!
Buff. (+3) over Balt.
Bills showed me something two weeks ago last Monday Nite and they impress upon and win this game in an upset. Buffalo’s defense will be the best D on the field this Sunday and Evans and Lynch will show us their big-play potential.
Mia. (+17) over N.E.
‘Phins get tricky at the end and make the score closer than it really is, as they have the offense to score enough points and cover the spread. Take the under of 3 on Tom Brady TD’s this week and make sure you take the over on 200 total yards for Ronnie Brown.
NYG (-9.5) over SF
Giants are the most improved team right now and one of the hottest in the NFL. Defense is improving and run game will be very effective this week, rushing it down the throats of the 49ers. Manning to Burress is now the best QB/WR combo in the league.
T.B. (+2.5) over Det.
Tampa runs the ball better this week and scores 24 or more on an awful Lions defense. Bennett adds sparkplug and provides the team with a lift. Bucs defense makes plenty of plays to preserve a victory.
Tenn. (-1.5) over Hou.
Titans with/without Vince Young will win this game because they are the more balanced team and the better defense. Bulluck and Co. will come up big and the offense will be just fine whether Young is in there or not.
Oak. (-3) over K.C.
Raiders are on and off, so this week will be their “on” week, playing well in a divisional game. The Silver and Black are back to outhustle and outwill the Chiefs in a rivalry that has been something to watch the past few years. Close game will go Oakland’s way because of a better, more physically talented defense.
NYJ (+6.5) over Cincy
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS cover the spread with a late TD pass and keep this game relatively close. Leon Washington will be the X-Factor, so to say, and the defense will hold the B(u)ngals at bay and force them to run at times.
Dal. (-10) over Minn.
Dallas is too good to have three off weeks in a row and they have to much offense weapons for the Vikes to stop. Minnesota doesn’t have enough on offense and Dallas will take it to ’em early & often.
Philly (-5) over Chi.
Bears defense has taken three steps back as the Eagles offense has moved a couple up towards recovering. Brian Westbrook is the big difference as the Eagles play this game in a high-scoring shootout that will have them out on top by a TD.
Sea. (-9) over Stl.
Hasselbeck is a very good QB and Bulger is a very hurt QB, that will be something to keep your eye on, as Shaun Alexander bounces back nicely, and Julian Peterson picks up 3-4 sacks, knocking Bulger right out the contest. Seattle shows who is the far superior team by the treating hapless and winless Rams to a beating.
Denv. (+4) over Pitt.
Broncos come fresh off a bye week and play their best game of the season. Defense shows up in a huge effort and Cutler and Walker hook up for 150 + yards a score. Roethlisberger turns the ball over 3 times and Denver wins the rushing battle in the trenches, where both teams excel up-front.
Indy (-3.5) over Jax.
Colts have great advantage in the T.O.P. department as they win this match-up by two scores. Close game up until Manning hooks up for 2 TD’s in the 4th quarter as the defense forces a couple of cough-ups. Colts jump out ahead early as they always do and they have complete control over the tempo of the game.
