I don’t expect a ton of offense in this Sunday tilt. After all, the Tennesssee Titans have quarterback Vince Young and….well, Vince Young. The Jacksonville Jaguars counter with the duo of running backs Maurice Drew-Jones and Fred Taylor and QB David Garrard. Some things to look for (very few if you ask me) here:
The Tennessee Titans can expect QB Vince Young to run like crazy as is his tendency to do most weeks; in other words, the Titans’ offense will pretty vanilla. On the flip side, the Jags will have success running the ball against the Titans. Expect decent numbers from Drew-Jones and Taylor, but that’s wherew the Jags’ excitment stops. Something tells me that Garrard will have the jitters this week and have some sub-par numbers and make the Titans’ secondary look like world-beaters.
The Jags’ ineffectiveness against the Titans will rear its ugly head this week as the Titans secondary will surprise some folks. In a close game, the titans will pull off the win down in Jacksonville. The Jack Del Rio job watch is officially on.
