This game is brought to you by the fine folks at Sominex. One can only hope that the announcing team is more entertaining than this game, as offense may be foreign to both teams. What to look for during this snooze-fest:
The Falcons are in deep trouble this week; it’s bad enough that they have to face the two-headed monster that is Vikings running backs Chester Taylor and draft pick Adrian Peterson (no not the Chicago Bears’ AP). Falcons defensive tackle Rod Coleman is out for at least four games (knee surgery). But on the positive side (a contradiction in terms here?), Falcons QB Joey Harrington will make his first start in the post-Michael Vick era.
The Vikings defense is what makes them go; however, the Falcons will have a RB duo of their own (Warrick Dunn and Jerious Norwood) to face. Despite all of the good things Minnesota has in their favor, I’m thinking that Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson will find a way to allow the Falcons to stay in the game. And guess what? Because of that, the Falcons will squeak this one at late. Falcons by 3 or 4 in a shocker at the Hubert H. Humphrey Dome.
