Gridiron Gabbin with Hall of Fame Cowboys Great Mel Renfro

Cowboys great Mel Renfro was the second overall pick in the 1964 NFL Draft. He quickly became a force in the league, and went on to have a Hall of Fame career. Career record: 52 interceptions, 842 punt return yards, 2,246 kickoff return yards. He was one of the leading forces behind a storied franchise that was one of the most feared in the league when he played from 1964 to 1977. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame 11 years ago, 1996. Site Editor Matt Loede caught up for a few minutes with the Renfro at the 27th Annual National Sports Collectors Convention.
