Sources are now saying you can add another team to the list that may have some interest in former Vikings and Dolphins QB Daunte Culpepper. That team is the Baltimore Ravens, who at 13-3 a season ago realize that the window of opportunity for a major Super Bowl run may be closing as 2007 closes in.
The Ravens already have Steve McNair as a starter, but after McNair, who has had his share of injuries over the years, they have Kyle Boller, who is a free agent in 2008, and not all that good anyway. If the Ravens want to make sure to have a decent insurance policy behind McNair, it may behoove them to go out and grab Culpepper. Daunte himself says he is 100 percent, and is ready to fight to make a roster and again make an impact in the league.
Baltimore was on the Culpepper short list sometime ago, but then when the back and forth stall began the Dolphins and Daunte, it seemed like the Ravens were off the list. Now though they may be right back on there with Culpepper being a free man and able to go anywhere. The Jags and Packers are two other teams that reportedly somewhat high on the list for Culpepper.
